Taiwanese actor Ethan Ruan has lost his temper over comments made by netizens about his relationship with actress-model Tiffany Hsu and has retaliated by telling them to 'go to hell' and 'go die', shocking the public.

Ruan and Hsu have been bombarded with endless questions regarding the truth about their eight-year relationship which was rumored to have ended since March 24, Tuesday. Furthermore, the actor is also rumored to have cheated on Hsu with his 'Under the Sicily Sun' co-star Zhou Dong Yu.

In the morning is March 25, Wednesday, the 32-year old actor has responded to the rumors through his personal Weibo account. He wrote, "Our relationship is none of your business! Tiffany is still my woman and Dong Yu will always be just a granddaughter to me."

He then told the media off and referred to the issue as 'silly rumors'.

The actor's post on his micro blog has since garnered almost 20,000 comments which was divided between those who have praised him for 'being a man' and those who have labeled him arrogant. Many, however, have deemed him disrespectful to women.

One user has commented, "Since you dare to cheat, you deserve to die."

As a result, Ruan lost it and lashed out on the netizens who are criticizing him. The actor allegedly wrote comments such as, "Go to hell," and "Go and die." On one of his alleged comments, the actor isa said to have written that since it is his page, he is the only one who has the right to criticize people and threatened one user by saying, "I'll have you removed."

The actor's rather rash and rude words shocked the fans, who advised the actor to just ignore the comments. One user stated that it is excusable for people to curse out of anger, but Ruan's words are out of line since he is a public figure.

Ruan and his agent have not commented about the issue and the press was not able to contact them since the news surfaced.

On the one hand, Tiffany Hsu, who is in Japan to attend the Okinawa International Movie Festival, has also been ambushed with questions about her relationship with Ruan by the media. However, the actress did not answer their questions and merely thanked them for their concern.

Hsu's staff has then revealed that she is acting normal and did not seem to be affected by the rumors.
