An Army National Guard and his cousin were arrested in Chicago for conspiring to kill hundreds in a plot linked with terrorist group ISIS. This is the latest case of Americans offering assistance to the Middle East terrorists.

The soldier is 22-year old Hasan Edmonds. He was taken into custody at the Chicago Midway Airport last Wednesday before he boarded a flight to Cairo, Egypt.

His cousin on the other hand is Jonas Edmonds, 29-years old. Jonas was arrested at mostly the same time in Aurora, Illinois, officials said.

The plan of the two Edmonds family members was for the younger of the two to fly to Cairo and join up with ISIS.

The older Edmonds member would then attack a U.S. military installation in northern Illinois. It was the same military installation where he had trained. He would use his army uniforms to gain access.

When interrogated on the matter, the two men said that they were projecting the aftermath to as many as 120 killed using AK-47s and grenades.

In a January message to an undercover agent who Hasan Edmonds met on Facebook, he noted that the State has already been established and that he and his cousin are ready for action if the call comes.

"I am already in the American kafir [infidel] army...and now I wish only to serve in the army of Allah alongside my true brothers."

He also said that he prays that he could step into the land of the Law of the Quran. However, he adds that he is content to stay, fight, and die for the cause of Allah when the target is set.

In a separate encounter, Hasan Edmond also referenced the Charlie Hebdo attack that happened in France recently. He said that he and his cousin would be more than willing to recreate that kind of havoc.

The two were charged with conspiring to provide material support for a foreign terrorist organization. The maximum penalty is 15 years in prison and $250,000 fine.
