Taiwanese singing diva Jolin Tsai dismissed rumors that her relationship with her actor-model boyfriend Vivian Dawson has hit some rough patches.
On Tuesday, Tsai posted an article entitled 'Women Should Not Get Married Before 30' on her official Facebook page. Media reports have lifted excerpts from the article, one of which said "Don't let someone else decide your life and fate. Build an independent and wholesome lifestyle, form your own opinions and discover your interests. Don't give up on these for your boyfriend."

The post has since led to speculation among netizens that the 34-year old singer was facing difficulties in her relationship with Dawson. However, the recording artist promptly dismissed such speculation.
Earlier, Tsai had attended an event on March 26, during which she explained to media that she merely shared the same sentiments as that of the writer of the article, thus debunking rumors that she is having problems in her relationship.
In addition, Tsai shared her opinions about the article, saying that women should have a sense of independence and should not subject themselves to change just to please others. The singer then insisted that the article has nothing to do with how she views her relationship with Dawson.
The diva also expressed her opinion that marriage is not a must before having kids, leading to opinions that the actress is open to the idea of pregnancy before marriage.
"I am more concerned about being happy with and being on the same frequency as my other half in a relationship," Tsai added.
