This is the second time game publisher Warner Bros and game developer Rocksteady have moved the game's release date.

Batman: Arkham Knight was supposed to be released on Oct. 14, 2014.  It was moved to June 2, 2015 and then moved back again to June 23.  The game is now delayed by eight months. At least the second delay was a shorter one.

Sefton Hill, the director of the game, apologized for the delay and said the delay was due to their refusal to make any compromises, which means game fans will have to wait a bit more before they can play the last installment of the Arkham series.

To reward its loyal Arkham fans, Rocksteady recently released a YouTube video featuring the gameplay of the last Arkham installment.  To watch the seven minute video clip, click here .

The gameplay video was taken from the PS4 console and titled "Officer Down." The game has been given the M rating because of its violent theme.

The video does show the level of violence that players have come to expect, which includes Batman fighting a group of thugs. Another scene shows Batman in his Batmobile pursuing a vehicle that has blown-up several police cars with RPGs.  In the interrogation scene, Batman wasn't exactly gentle with the perp.

The video features the voice of actor Jonathan Banks from Breaking Bad.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on the Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Meanwhile, Rocksteady is reportedly planning to re-release Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City for the Xbox One and PS4.
