Apple is preparing for arguably the biggest product launch in its history, a huge step away from the norm of tech products and into the realm of luxury fashion with the Apple Watch.
To make sure everything goes smoothly, Apple is buying new retail estate dedicated to selling the Apple Watch. These new stores will be available in London, Paris, Tokyo and a few other fashion-centric cities.

Customers will only be able to try and buy the Apple Watch at these stores, meaning the new MacBook and Genius bar will not be part of the experience. It's a new move by Apple to segment its stores to offer more luxury brand retention.
Apple might also be worried that in the main store, potential Apple Watch customers will be waiting too long to try on the device, and the busyness of the store will put off potential customers.
Having this tailored store for Apple Watch customers should suffice. Apple is clearly focused on making as much noise as possible for the Apple Watch launch to win over the wearable market.
Apple will offer 15 minute tryouts for the Watch Sport and original Watch. For Watch Edition customers, this tryout session is extended to 30 minutes.
The Watch Edition has caused quite a commotion for the huge price tag at $10,000 to $17,000 for the watch, competing with the likes of Rolex and other premium watchmakers.
