The Asus Transformer T300 Chi is basically a laptop and tablet rolled into one. The Chi sells for around $700 and it's much slimmer than the MacBook Air.

This latest Transformer Book runs on Windows 8.1 and the 12.5 inch tablet is magnetically docked with the Bluetooth keyboard base, which can then be converted into a laptop.  It comes in either a 64 GB or 128 GB storage, RAM with either 4 GB or 8 GB.

The T300 also has a low power Core M processor from Intel, which probably explains the reason that it doesn't have a fan.

The T300 Chi doesn't have full-sized USB ports, a hard drive or extra battery. It also has no buttons to press when you want to undock. Instead, the keyboard base and tablet are connected via magnets and two flanges.

To undock it, simply rip the tablet from the keyboard base.

The T300 Chi has a sleek design and is certain to catch attention especially if you rip out the tablet/screen out of its flange.

The magnets have been thoroughly tested. Tests show even if the Chi is forcefully shaken, the tablet will still remain with the keyboard base.

You can undock it even with the use of one hand, however, by holding the screen at one side. Make sure your forearm is pressed tightly against the dock, and then lift the tablet upward with your wrist.

Despite the slim and sleek design and configuration, the Chi has its limitations. Users will have to content themselves with its micro ports, namely a micro SD for additional storage, micro HDMI, micro USB and a 3.5 mm headset jack.

Probably one of the weakest features of the T300 Chi is its short battery life. Depending on your normal usage, the battery can only last for four to five hours maximum.
