If you own a remote-controlled air conditioner then Sensibo is a device you might be interested in. This Indiegogo project will add more intelligence to your A/C, whether it is window-mounted, free-standing, or a centralized one. As long as it is controllable through a remote, Sensibo can be used along with it.

The developers of Sensibo needed $70,000 as a funding for the project. However, they ended up receiving double the amount, thanks to the huge support by the people interested in the project.
The device could be connected and accessed through an app which will allow you to control the settings of your A/C remotely. Heading back to your house from a vacation? Turn on your air conditioner beforehand so that once you reach home it is all cooled down for you. Similarly, in case you left your unit on, you can easily use the app to turn it off and save energy from being wasted.
The best feature of Sensibo is its energy-saving function. Its iBeacon sensor automatically shuts down the air conditioner when you are not present in the room. According to experts, this feature can easily reduce your electricity bill by as much as 40 percent. Apart from this, the device also has light and humidity sensors.
You can back the device at a price starting at $99. This includes the Sensibo hub, a device which will help Sensibo connect to your home's router, and a 'pod'. You can get the A/C 'pod' separately but it will cost you around $69. Hence, it's wiser if you get the whole kit instead.
