International martial arts actor and director Jackie Chan mistakes former EXO-member-turned-actor and solo artist Wu Yi Fan for Chinese singer-actor Li Yi Feng, causing mixed reactions from netizens.
Wu was a guest judge in the mainland Chinese talent show 'Hidden Energy', more popularly known in China as 'Wo Kan Ni You Xi', which began filming its second round of competitions on Sunday.

Since the 'Somewhere Only We Know' star acted shyly and did not speak much during the filming, Chan, who also attended the show, attempted to help him relax by revealing that he mistook Wu for Li Yi Feng.
Chan said, "I feel especially apologetic. I mistook him (Wu) for another youngster earlier."
Renowned film director Feng Xia Gang was the one who revealed that the 60-year old actor mistook Wu for Li, who is a rising singer-actor in China. Chan then apologized to Wu, saying, "Yes, I'm sorry, Hu Yi Fan," once again making a mistake by mispronouncing Wu's Mandarin name.
After realizing his mistake, the 'Rush Hour' star apologized once more, saying that he can't differentiate 'Hu' and 'Wu' due to his Hong Kong accent. He amended by praising Wu and encouraging him in his career.
He said, "Wu Yifan is still young, so there are a lot of possibilities for him. He will be an exceptional character if he keeps working hard."
When the news about the incident surfaced, netizens, mostly Wu's followers, gave an assortment of opinions on Chan's mistake.
Some thanked the veteran actor for his encouragement to Wu who is currently in the process of filming his second film since 'Somewhere Only We Know'.
Others pointed out that it is understandable for Chan to make mistakes since he and Wu are from different generations.
However, some had negative responses to Chan's mistakes. They said Chan had already met Wu before, referring to the actor's 60th birthday celebration in Beijing where EXO, Wu's former band, were guest performers.
Said episode of 'Hidden Energy' will be aired on April 3 and 4, and 11 10 and 11.
