After skipping stepsister Kim Kardashian's wedding, former reality star-turned-DJ Brody Jenner said that he had three reasons for not attending. One of the main reasons, Brody said, was that he didn't really know Kanye West, Kardashian's now-husband.

Jenner shared during his podcast, "The Brody Jenner Podcast with Dr. Mike Dow", "To be completely honest, I don't know Kanye. Like at all. I really don't. "I've had one conversation with him that maybe lasted 15 seconds or 20 seconds."

Aside from not being friends with West, Jenner also shared that wedding plans were sprung on the family only a few weeks before the actual ceremony and that he had appearances he couldn't cancel.

With his absence in the Kardashian-West nuptials but apparent presence in the wedding of Reggie Bush, Kardashian's former boyfriend, Jenner commented that Kardashian's Italian wedding was just too far, while "Reggie Bush's wedding was right down the street. It was in San Diego so it was a lot closer."

Also, according to Jenner, he has been friends with Bush for a long time. "Reggie dated Kim for years and I developed a very close relationship with Reggie and Lilit [Bush's now-wife]. We spent a lot more time together as a whole," he added.

Despite the scrutiny, Jenner said that there are no hard feelings between him and Kardashian. Kardashian is said to be okay with Jenner's absence and understands his close bond with Bush. Jenner, on the other hand, said that he continues to love and support his stepsister and that Kardashian and West's baby North is "absolutely stunning."

Brody Jenner is the son of Bruce Jenner, who was married to Kardashian's mother Kris. Bruce and Kris' daughters Kylie and Kendall are his half-sisters. His father Bruce and stepmother Kris are currently separated.

Jenner shot to fame when he was part of the reality show, "The Hills".
