EXO-L, the official fan club of SouhtKorean-Chinese boy group EXO, expressed their anger after Oh Jung Yeon, the MC for their press conference and album launching, allegedly questioned member Lay's loyalty to the group.
EXO's fans were not pleased and expressed their outrage over the line of questioning thrown by the acting MC Oh Jung Yeon, at one of the Chinese members, Lay, during the group's press conference held last March 30, Monday.

According to media reports, Lay, born Zhang Yi Xing, was not able to attend said event with the other nine members of the group since there was a conflict in his filming schedule for the film 'Oh My God' and the press con.
His mascot served as a stand-in during the event instead while he joined the press conference through a video call since he was in China.
Oh, the MC, then made a joke towards Lay which angered the fans. Reports say that Oh playfully asked the idol, "You're coming back, right?" in lieu to the issue which involved two of the former Chinese members, Lu Han and Kris Wu, who left the group in 2014.
Lay then replied, "Of course, I'm going to return. There's EXO."
The MC wished for the 23-year old idol's safe return to Korea, saying, "I hope you return for sure rather than stay in China."
Oh's joke was not taken lightly by EXO-L and is said to have hit a sore spot, considering the loss of two members. Many netizen commented negatively about the incident and bashed Oh online for her questions which they've deemed 'thoughtless'.
As the harsh comments continued to pour online, a representative from the conference organizers came to the MC's defense, stating, "While trying to express her interest in EXO, announcer Oh Jung Yeon ended up saying something like that."
Despite the rep's statement, fans of the group continued to bash on the MC, accusing her of acting 'inappropriately' and thoughtlessly.
