A father in Daytona, Florida caught an 18-year-old man sexually abusing his 11-year old son and mauled the suspect, Raymond Frolander, until he was "nice and knocked out".
After the assault, the father made a 911 call to report the abuse to the Volusia County emergency dispatch and asked them to "send an ambulance", adding that Frolander was still breathing but "in a puddle of blood." He also reportedly said "and I loved him up until 15 minutes ago." Frolander was a close friend of the family.

Still on the line, the father was heard saying to the pedophile, "You are damn lucky, boy, that I love my God."
Daytona police who arrived at the scene described Frolander as "laying motionless on the living room floor with several knots on his face and bleeding from his mouth."
Frolander was said to have abused the child in the apartment while the father was gone. When the father returned, Frolander had a suspicious look of guilt on his face, leading the father to believe that something was wrong.
Frolander's pants then fell to his ankles. The father immediately concluded that his son was sexually assaulted upon seeing the abuser's exposed privates.
The son admitted that Frolander had given him oral sex and also forced him to fondle the abuser. The child said that Frolander had been abusing him for years, an allegation that Frolander has admitted to.
"I'm guilty," said Frolander, who now faces charges of sexual battery of a child.
Daytona Beach Police Chief Michael Chitwood said the father acted as a father should, and has not filed any charges against him.
The identities of both the father and his son were not released to the public.
