Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly hurt by the alleged romance between her ex-husband Chris Martin and close friend Kate Hudson.

Gwyneth, who considers Kate a very dear friend feels betrayed and sources claim that she feels hurt with the rumors.

According to insiders, "Gwyneth feels like this is a betrayal. She and Kate used to be very close, but their friendship has cooled in recent years." The insiders added that seeing Chris and Kate get along so well was hard for the "Iron Man" actress.

The sources revealed that Chris and Kate have always had a special relationship and said that there's no denying that there's chemistry between them. Chris adores Kate's relaxed vibe and easy-going personality while Kate loves music and if you haven't noticed, has a thing for musicians. "They enjoy spending time together," the source said.

Gwyneth and Chris, who are parents to Apple and Moses, "consciously uncoupled" over a year ago and have since been involved with new partners. Chris moved on with on-again off-again girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, while Gwyneth is reportedly dating Glee's Brad Falchuk.

Kate has loved the single life since she called off her engagement to Muse's lead vocalist Matt Bellamy in December of last year. Together they have a son, Bingham. She is also a mom to Ryder, from her previous marriage to The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson.

Sources said that Gwyneth's whole situation with Chris has become complicated, especially that she and Kate have the same circle of friends.

Gwyneth is said to be "devastated" that her ex-husband is spending a lot of time with someone she considered to be a really good friend. Aside from that, it is reported that Kate's relationship with Chris has caused a lot of tension between their mutual friends including Liv Tyler and Stella McCartney.
