Amazon Launches Amazing New Way to Shop

(Photo : Amazon) Amazon is looking to make restocking on goods even easier.
Amazon has launched a new way to restock on all the vital home supplies using the Dash button. Believe it or not, this isn't an April Fool's joke but is an actual product Amazon is piloting with Prime members.
Essentially, the Dash button is an SOS for resupply of a certain item whether diapers, detergent or drinks. Press the button and it automatically sends the order to Amazon, which will be verified in a few seconds.

Users set-up the button by connecting it to Wi-Fi using Amazon's mobile app. Once the button is pressed, users will have a small window to cancel in case someone else pressed it by mistake or you found more stock in the house.
To make sure only one order is sent, Amazon shuts down the button after one press until the item is delivered. If the user wants more, he'll have to go to the Amazon store and order more stock, which may become an issue if the item isn't bundled.
Amazon is testing the Dash button with a variation of home suppliers, including Bounty, Tide, Gatorade, Olay, Smartwater and Huggies. The user will be able to attach the Dash button in a convenient location near where the product is stored.
This is a new way for Amazon to be integrated inside the home. Amazon launched Echo a few months ago allowing customers to speak to a virtual assistant that updates the whole family. Now, it has Dash buttons inside the home for instant refill.
Combine that with the Prime Air drones that Amazon is working on, and in the future Amazon could get a notification from a Dash button, instantly send out the drone and have the product at the customer's door in a few hours.
