Cousins Kim and David
This piece of news shows the convoluted pathways genetics takes over generations.
Whether it's fact or fiction, the news Kim Kardashian and British Prime Minister David Cameron are long-lost cousins is a hard one to swallow.
The news would have bordered on a bad joke if it didn't come from Cameron himself. In answer to a question by the British entertainment magazine, Heat, if he was a fan of the Kardashian's TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the Prime Minister replied "No, but I'm related to them".

Cameron himself explained why he had a bloodline linked to Kim and her brood.
"Did you know I'm 13th cousins with them?" he asked.
Yes, they're cousins but very, very distant cousins. According to genealogy website Geni.com, the link between David and Kim comes via mutual ancestor, Sir William Spencer, born in 1555.
Spencer's daughters, Elizabeth Russell and Catherine Spencer, are direct ancestors of Cameron and Kardashian.
When asked if he'd like a family reunion involving the Kardashians, Cameron replied, "That would be great, thanks", according to The Daily Mail.
Kim isn't the only celeb with genealogical ties with Cameron. The British PM is also related to Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of England. He's a fifth cousin of the Queen.
