So did pop star Katy Perry cut that much hair?

The 30-year old singer has been known to sport wild hairstyles and hair colors, so it should come as no surprise if she indeed has cut her hair this short.

On April 1, Wednesday, which is April Fool's Day by the way, Katy shared a photo of her on Instagram showing off her super short, jet black pixie hair cut. At first, she captioned the photo, "Chop Chop," but changed it and wrote "I asked for the Kris Jenner," instead, shortly after she posted it.

A few days before her much-speculated haircut, Katy and Kris Jenner spent some time on a yacht together at Karl Lagerfeld's celebratory Chanel dinner. Among the attendees were models Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, as well as, "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress Dakota Johnson.

Kris documented her night with the "This is How We Do" singer and posted a photo of them on her own Instagram account with the Statue of Liberty in their background. The Kardashian matriarch captioned the photo, "Yep @katyperry...Lady Liberty is 100% photo bombing us! Best Night in NYC!" before proceeding to thank and tag fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld for the dinner, which she described as "amazing."

Kris, who seemingly found Katy's photo funny and amusing, reposted it on her own account and expressed her love for the singer. She told the singer "I love you" and told her that she looks gorgeous and beautiful.
