"She would not want anyone to waste time on hating,"
That's the statement of the family of Irish-Australian Edel Mahady, one of the 298 passengers of the Malaysian flight MH17 who all perished after the plane was shot down over rebel-infested territory in Ukraine.
Mahady is described by her family as a "tiger mother." She was devoted to her husband Dereck and a loving mother to her children, Conor and Ciara.

She was a caring daughter who always visits her elderly mother, and a supportive sister to her siblings that she was in constant communication with.
When she got married, she immigrated from Irelang to Australia, and there had a group of friends who she regards as her Australian family.
She worked as a Bursar or Office Manager at Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School and a Fitness Instructor at Fitness First.
Mahady's personality had greatly affected generations of teachers and children in Kelmscott area.
She was a very dedicated fitness instructor whose dedication to the health and well-being of those she trained was unfailing.
She loves nothing more than to see her trainees lose weight, eat healthier and increase their fitness.
She was an inspiration to everyone around her, her humor, strength, wisdom, joy and determination drove people in achieving their best.
Mahady always see the best in people, she never puts up with nonsense and spoke with honesty and conviction.
"No one wanted to let Edel down," her family said.
"Edel dealt with prince or pauper the same. She respected hard work, integrity and regarded failure as an opportunity to do better next time. She was innovative, persistent and a champion of those who were struggling," they added.
Her family said that she would not want to see anyone wasting time hating those who were involved in the MH17 tragedy.
She would be happier to see everyone to "suck it up" and make sure those who are in need will be given help.
As of to date, her family asked for privacy as they grieve for the death of one of the most wonderful woman who is now with the Lord.
