Disney's been experiencing a lot of success making live-action versions of the favorite cartoon classics, so it's no wonder why they would want to make a live-action adaptation of the "Winnie the Pooh."
Just a few days after Disney officially announced that they will make a live-action version of the highly successful 1998 cartoon, "Mulan," the studio has revealed on their website the upcoming "Winnie the Pooh," which will follow a grown-up Christopher Robin "which brings him back to A.A. Milne's famous bear and the Hundred Acre Wood."

30-year old "Queen of Earth" director is onboard to direct the film, as well as pen the script, as reported by E! News.
The much anticipated question, however, which many are probably asking right now is whether the characters Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Roo, Owl, Rabbit, Tigger and Kanga are going to be real animals voiced-over by humans or computer animated, but that has yet to be clarified by the studio.
Aside from "Winnie the Pooh," Disney is already creating a live-action version of the "Beauty and the Beast" headlined by Emma Watson, Luke Evans and Dan Stevens and plans to make live-action versions of other classic favorites including "Dumbo," "Pete's Dragon" and "The Jungle Book."
