A panda pair in China broke a long-running "endurance" record of the Sichuan Giant Panda Research Centre. That's because Lu Lu and Zhen Zhen mated for seven minutes and 45 seconds. Wow!
For this feat, Lu Lu, the male, was given the nickname, "Enduring Brother," reports The Daily Mail. He's also the hottest topic in China since his feat was videotaped and shared in social media.

The center said the average time pandas mate is five minutes and 30 seconds. Two pairs of pandas were paired-off, but Lu Lu and Zhen Zhen beat the other pair, Yi Bao and Jix Xin, whose coupling only lasted one minute and 20 seconds.
When compared to humans, Lu Lu lasted longer than the average American male and even a Mexican male whose record is just over seven minutes, according to The Daily Dot.
Breeders from the center observed the pairs mate as they tried to understand the mating habits of the animal. They've always been encouraging pandas to reproduce, especially during the months of March through May, their mating season.
To encourage the panda pairs to mate when they're in the mood, staff use bamboo poles to guide one toward the other since the animals are caged.
The female is in heat only once a year, usually from two and four days. When mating, the female tends to make loud and strange noises while the male leaves traces of his scent to attract the female panda.
It's ironic that on the same day Lu Lu and Zhen Zhen gained internet fame for their mating behind bars, two mainland Chinese residents studying in Hong Kong universities are in trouble for doing the same thing in public.
The shameless pair made love on the pavement of a busy city street. That bold act could land them behind bars.
Drunk and in heat, the two were unaware some people videotaped their lovemaking and posted it on the internet. That led to the arrest on the 19 year-old man who celebrated his birthday Thursday. Police are searching for the woman who reportedly fled to Beijing.
