Former EXO member and actor Lu Han's new Chinese management company has publicly apologized to variety show producers through his Chinese managing company for his fear of heights.
It is not a secret to his supporters and the public that Lu has an extreme fear of heights as he has openly discussed it in the past. It was even shown during one of the episodes of 'EXO's Showtime' in 2013 when he, along with his other members, had to board a cable car to go up to Seoul's Namsan Tower.

However, his Acrophobia seems to be affecting the 24-year old actor worse than everyone initially thought it would as it has been revealed that it is hindering him from participating in some variety shows he is scheduled to attend.
On March 31, Lu's new managing company announced through their Weibo account that he will not be participating in variety programs due to his phobia. His associates apologized for it and wrote, "We are aware that you are making official suggestions through the news and Weibo. However, Lu Han can't presently participate in programs that require long travel."
The company explained that they are currently refusing variety programs due to the idol's condition. Lu's company has also cited that his fans know of his condition and that Acrophobia affects many people, Lu included.
The company also emphasized that the idol felt a lot of emotional stress due to overseas promotions which required long flights when he was still a member of EXO. They have cited these as the reason as to why Lu has passed up on many important opportunities in the past.
Furthermore, the management thanked the public for making suggestions about the shows which Lu should join.
Ultimately, the managing company said, "We have not found ways to manage his acrophobia medically as of now, but Lu Han is actively trying a number of things. We hope that he will be able to realize his dream of traveling the world soon."
As for Lu's career, he was cast and is currently busy filming the Hollywood film 'The Great Wall' which also stars American actor Matt Damon.
