One Direction Members Finally Open Up About Zayn Malik's Departure

Zayn Malik made millions of girls cry and broke their hearts when he announced that he was departing the top-charting boy band One Direction. And now, the four members of the group, has spoken up in their first official interview with The Sun since Zayn's departure.
Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson talked to he U.K. paper about their former band mate's decision and how it can possibly affect them.

21-year old Liam admitted that it's been tough without Zayn and said that the past few weeks are probably the toughest since they first got together as a band five years ago. He described all of them as "gutted" when Zayn decided to leave but after performing at a few concerts as a quartet, all of them are feeling positive, confident and more determined "to carry on stronger than ever."
22-year old Zayn, who announced via One Direction's official Facebook page that he was leaving the group, surely didn't waste no time as he is already working with hit producer Naughty Boy on his solo career. Naughty Boy released a demo track by Zayn on Sound Clound just a few days after the singer parted ways with the band. Louis called out Naughty Boy for being inconsiderate and after exchanging heated tweets, deleted the song from his page.
Despite losing Zayn, however, the rest of the guys are positive and looking forward to completing their "On the Road Again" tour.
Niall said in the interview that they're looking forward to seeing their fans and expressed that all they want is for them to be proud of them with their tour and new album.
1D has reportedly started working on a new album since February, which they said will not be affected despite the shake up. Harry clarified the rumors and told The Sun that "It's very exciting to be working on our fifth album."
Louis assured fans that the rest of them are "100 percent committed" to staying in the band and thanked them for supporting them during this time.
As for the rumors that there are tension between Zayn and the band, Zayn insisted that all is good between all of them and explained that what he did was "what felt right."
