Dr. Fredric Brandt, the famous dermatologist of the Hollywood celebrities, dubbed as the 'Celebrity Baron of Botox' was found dead in his Miami mansion last Sunday.

He was 65 years old.

Miami Police Department confirmed that the cause of death was suicide. Celebrities are now paying homage to Brandt through social media, according to Daily Mail.

"Dr Brandt was one of the sweetest, nicest, most generous people I have had the good fortune to meet & work with. He will be sorely missed," tweeted Joy Behar, comedian and former star of 'The View'.

"My heart is breaking for the loss of Dr. Fredric Brandt. My friend. You will be missed forever and in my heart even longer," tweeted Kelly Ripa, TV show host.

The 65 year old dermatologist was 'devastated' by a Netflix show's portrayal of him, according to Lesley Abravanel, Miami Herald columnist via Twitter.

"The show definitely deeply hurt him, he was being made fun of because of the way he looks. It is mean, and it was bullying. But the show was not the reason for his depression, and it was not the reason he would take his own life," said Jacque Trachtenberg, Brandt's longtime publicist through an interview with New York Post.

Brandt was widely recognized for his remarkable work for the entertainment industry and worked hand in hand with Ripa and other celebrities, who wanted to take age off from their faces.

Brandt's facial appearance was also manifested by which surgical and non-surgical dermatological techniques he used.

"I approach each face with a visual perception, an artistic perception and a medical perception," said Brandt in a previous interview with New York Times.

The famed dermatologist emphasized that his goal was 'to restore the face to harmony'.

Brandt was sought after the rich and famous for his signature 'Y lifts', a procedure where fillers are injected under the cheekbones to reduce the appearance of aging.
