Starship Entertainment Announces Partnership with China’s Yuehua Entertainment

South Korean talent outfit Starship Entertainment announces their partnership with Chinese agency Yuehua Entertainment, marking their stronger ventures in the Korean and Chinese entertainment market.
Starship Entertainment is following the footsteps of big talent agencies in Korea such as SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment which have made alliances with Chinese entertainment companies in order to expand their market in China.

Media reports state that on April 6, Starship Entertainment joined forced with China's Yuehua Entertainment to begin the expansion of their businesses in various fields in the entertainment industry including music, film and variety shows both in China and Korea.
According to Starship Entertainment, the company aims to hasten their entrance into the Chinese market by using Yuehua Entertainment's production and marketing skills. The company also announced that the artists under the Chinese company will be managed by Starship Entertainment if ever they venture to the Korean market.
The Korean company stated that it is their aim to guide the artists from both companies in order for them to achieve stardom in both countries. Starship Entertainment stated, "The two agency's collaborative synergy is hoped to spread beyond Asia and reach to the global market."
Yuehua Entertainment also released their statement regarding the partnership, confirming the news. The Chinese company commended Starship Entertainment for growing into a major talent outfit in Korea.
"We have made strategic partnership with Starship. By utilizing merits of both agencies, we hope to set a collaborative example," representatives of Yuehua Entertainment said, also adding that their partnership aims to build cultural bridges between Korea and China.
Starship and Yuehua, established in 2008 and 2009 respectively, made names for themselves by producing hit music groups. The former produced artists such as SISTAR, K.Will. Junggigo and Boyfriend, who are known internationally.
On the other hand, Yuehua has also established itself as a big name in China in terms of artists management and different kinds of productions.
