Mainland Chinese actress Fan Bingbing was recently insured for $100 million RMB before her appearance in the Chinese version of the outdoor variety show 'Running Man' to promote her new flick.
Fan, who played the role of Blink in the iconic hero movie 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', is slated to appear in the Chinese version of the Korean variety show 'Running Man', more popularly known in China as 'Hurry Up, Brother'.

Since the show requires its guests to run outdoors and play vigorous games, the producers of the show decided to ensure the actress' safety as well as her well-known beautiful face and perfect skin by allegedly insuring her with a whopping amount of $100 million RMB or $22 million USD in the event that her face gets injured in any way.
According to insider reports, the 'Empress of China' star is more privileged compared to other celebrities whose faces are insured for only around three to eight million yuan or approximately $600,000 USD to $1.7 million USD only.
However, despite the reports, the producers of the show refused to comment about the real amount that the actress was insured for. The producers merely stated that each celebrity is insured at different values.
Furthermore, media outlets also reported that whenever Fan is present for filming, the producers increased the level of security at the venues where the episode will be shot in order to protect her and the other guests.
In the past, rumors that the 33-year old actress' face was insured at a high price began circulating. The rumors state that in the event that Fan's face suffers from injuries, even minimally, during filming projects, she will receive a huge sum of money as reimbursement.
Fan herself has not given any comments to confirm or deny said issue.
