Bad said that the opening image after the trademark title will be a severed hand on a desert planet, discovered by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega whose characters are yet to be defined.

Ridley is an English actress who has had a part in numerous roles TV Series like Mr Selfridge, Silent Witness, Toast of London and Youngers.

John Boyega is a British actor of Nigerian descent known for movies such as Attack Block, Imperial Dreams and My Murder.

According to The Guardian, Boyega, whose character is described as someone trying to change his path in life, is said to own the new installment.

Ridley and Boyega will recover the lightsaber from the severed hand, starting the quest to return it to its owner.

These two characters will quest off-world and will meet Han Solo and Chewbacca, who sadly won't be flying around in the Millenium Falcon.

Han Solo and Chewbacca will recognize the light saber as Luke Skywalker's but the problem is, they haven't seen Luke in the past 30 years.

Star Wars fans can probably guess what's going to happen next. Of course, they will go on a quest to find Luke Skywalker and return the lightsaber to him, in the process finding out what happened to Luke.

Disney has not confirmed or denied the probable plot details of the movie, making the details unconfirmed.

Star Wars: Episode VII will premiere in December, 2015.
