Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight, 49, has fired his attorney, David Kenner on Wednesday during a hearing in a Los Angeles Superior Court for a robbery case. In September 2014, the rap mogul along with comedian Katt Williams, 43, were accused by a female celebrity photographer for running her down and taking her camera during a fight in Beverly Hills where she suffered minor injuries.

Knight, who is also facing murder charges in a separate case and remains in custody on a US$25 million bail, did not give a reason for his request to replace Kenner. Kenner filed the paperwork for Knight's request citing "irreconcilable conflicts."
Knight is charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of hit-and-run in January, a few months after the robbery incident. He is due back in court Monday for a preliminary hearing on the murder case filed after he was accused of purposely running over Terry Carter, 55, and Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, with his truck outside a Compton burger stand after an argument. Carter was killed after sustaining serious injuries, while Sloan was hospitalized.
Knight's attorney for the murder charge, Matt Fletcher said that in the hearing, he expects the prosecutors will present some of the evidence in the case.
Knight had been previously linked to robberies, extortion, money laundering, assaults, witness intimidation and battery in the past, according to an affidavit filed by the prosecutor.
Knight's next hearing on the robbery case is on May 27, by which time he must have a new attorney to represent him.
