Stephen Wong and Kevin Cheng: Nominees for the Golden Eagle Awards of China TV

China TV opened their annual Golden Eagle Awards and two names were nominated for Best Actor - Stephen Wong and Kevin Cheng.
For Kevin Cheng, he is very happy to be nominated noting that there are so many actors in the mainland and competition is tough.
Currently, Cheng is filming Eye in the Sky, a TVB drama together with Tavia Yeung and Ruco Chan.

Stephen Wong, Kevin Cheng's good friend was also nominated and his great contender for the post.
Wong is currently filming the series of Mazu, a television series.
Kevin has expressed his happiness for his friend and hopes to see more Hong Kong artists achieve success in China.
For Stephen, it is his honor to be nominated with his older brother (Kevin).
The Golden Eagle Awards is China's largest annual awards for achievements in television.
It is the main national award for the Chinese television industry.
The award is presented by the China Television Artists Association and is closely associated with the Emmy's.
Golden Eagle Awards is categorized into 28 divisions including the Best Actor, Best TV series and the Best TV program.
Voting period for Best Actor and Actress has already opened last July 15 and will end in August 14.
The China Television Artists Association (CTAA) and the managers of the local television stations nominate the candidates for the awards.
There will be a nationwide voting which will determine the winners in some categories.
However for the Best Actor or Best Actress is the candidate who wins the most number of votes in the CTAA ballots.
