The business and creative partner of Solange Knowles, Armina Mussa is currently fighting for her life after she was brutally stabbed 10 times just outside of her home in New Orleans. Beyonce's sister immediately flew from Los Angeles to be at her side.

24-year old Armina, who is the project director of Solange's brand "Saint Heron," was reportedly slashed and knifed by Aaronesia Christophe, 26, after Armina screamed at her and asked her to leave.

Aaronesia, who is now held in jail for aggravated battery and attempted second-degree murder, told the police that she was simply acting in self-defense when she stabbed Armina over and over again. 

According to the report filed by the police, Aaronesia asked Armina why she had to leave the home before things became violent.

After she refused to do what Armina told her to do, she claims that Armina grabbed her hair, pulled her to the ground, where she was beaten. She said that she had to defend herself and decided to pull out a small folding knife. 

As written in the report, Aaronesia said that she wasn't sure if she was able to stab the victim because of the harder blows and punches she received from Armina. It was only after Armina had backed off when she was told "you stabbed me," and when she realized the damage she had done.

Solange's representative spoke for the singer and said that she wasn't with Armina during the attack but immediately jetted to New Orleans once she heard the news. 

The representative added that Solange is now with Armina and her family at the hospital and has been at her side since. 

Solange will be attending Aaronesia's first court appearance, scheduled on Thursday.
