One of the world's most famous supermodels, Gisele Bundchen, will no longer be walking the catwalk, as she will retire after a two-decade long career. In an interview last Saturday, she revealed that she's quitting the catwalk because her body "asked her to stop."
The 34-year old Brazilian beauty, who will make her last sashay down the catwalk during Fashion Week in Sao Paulo, told the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper that she has "learned to listen to her body."

She said that her body tells her if what she does is worth it and this time, it asked her to stop. She revealed that she respects her body and that it is a privilege for her to be able to stop "runway work."
The highest paid supermodel in the world clarified that she is not totally retiring from her other responsibilities, but is simply quitting runway work to be able to spend more time with her family.
Gisele, who has already limited her number of appearances, is married to Tom Brady the star of the New England Patriots and have a son, Benjamin, and daughter, Vivian, together.
"I don't know how to continue modeling on the catwalk and stopping will make room for other projects I have for myself," she added, without getting into detail about her other plans and projects.
Gisele, who, according to Forbes, has been the highest paid model for the last eight years, raking in US$47 million just last year, is reportedly going to focus on ad campaigns.
She has worked with renowned designers and labels including Valentino, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Versace, Carolina Herrera and Alexander Wang. She has also been one of the Victoria's Secret Angels.
Catch Gisele on the catwalk one last time during the Sao Paulo Fashion Week, which will start on April 13 and end on April 17.
