It seems like something always goes awry everytime HBO tries to premiere its latest season of their hit TV series Game of Thrones.
The first four episodes of the shows fifth season leaked a day before its scheduled premiere on Sunday. The leaked episodes were said to have been from review copies that were handed to the media and film critics, the episodes have since then been uploaded to numerous torrent sites and is reported to have already been downloaded a whopping 788,000 times.

The leak first occurred at around 9 and 10pm ET in a private torrent sharing website on Saturday, but has since made their way to bigger and more public sites like Piratebay and Kickass torrents. Unfortunately the leaked episodes are said to be in standard resolution.
In 2014, the show was ranked as the most pirated series of all time and we are sure that this will not change anytime soon. Last year HBO's popular mobile and tablet application HBO Go crashed during the premiere of the show's fourth season, which led to numerous complaints from fans and an apology from HBO.
Entertainment insiders have said that pre-premiere leaks usually cause a major loss of revenue, but some media executives have also declared that leaks can be a promotional move further the hype of the series.
The source of the leak is unclear at this point but some outlets are pointing to a certain press screening. Meanwhile, HBO has yet to comment on the leak.
