R&B performer, Bobby Brown, 46, made his first public performance since his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, 22, was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January.  

Brown gave an emotional performance at the 2015 Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 11, that made audience tearful.   With grief all etched on his face, Brown sang Don't Be Cruel" and "On Our Own," and "Every Little Step" in front of 4,000 fans.

After the performance, Brown, in a TMZ video admitted to the crowd that he is going through difficult times but has given his suffering to God, "to let Him deal with it."

The devoted father has been by Bobbi Kristina's side since March when she was put under a medical-induced coma at an undisclosed rehab facility.  Bobbi Kristina is Brown's only child with the late Whitney Houston.

During the festival, Bobbi Brown took advantage to promote his barbecue and seasonings products, Bobby Brown Foods and asked the crowd to visit his booth.

After his performance, the devoted father immediately flew back to Atlanta to stay close to Kristina.  Brown is still hopeful that his daughter will recover, refusing to take her off from life support in a long-term care center in Atlanta, Georgia.  The family is currently torn whether to take her off or not.

The Soul Food Festival is one of a string of appearances Brown is obliged to perform.  Due to his daughter's condition, Brown cancelled a tour in Australia for March but pretty soon he will have to fulfill all his obligations under various contracts.
