The title of the show has yet to be announced, but the network stated that the show will feature six celebrities who will serve as captains. The celebrities in the lineup will be learning skills on how to play sports such as basketball, swimming, soccer and badminton, and they will be coached by professional athletes.
However, the highlight of the announcement is that the celebrity line-up of the show allegedly included Jessica Jung, who is a former member of Korean girl group Girls' Generation, as well as Lu Han and Wu Yi Fan, who are former members of EXO. According to media reports, Jung, Lu and Wu will be participating in certain group matches.
The three idols, who left their mother company, SM Entertainment, last year, will also be joined by various celebrities from all over Asia.
Since the announcement was made, fans expressed their anticipation in seeing the three idols on the show, but Jung, Lu and Wu have yet to confirm their participation in the idol athletics show.
On the other hand, the list of artists who will be featured in the show also includes Hong Kong singer Joey Yung. Yung already confirmed that she will be making an appearance in the show.
As for the three idols' careers, Jung recently released the latest sunglasses collection under Blanc and Eclare's spring-summer campaign. On the one hand, Lu is said to preparing to film for the Hollywood movie 'The Great Wall' while Wu is currently shooting 'Lao Pao Er'.
