A suicide bomber killed four people and wounded six others in a compound for foreigners at the Kabul airport early Tuesday.
The attacker reportedly detonated the bomb when the motorcycle he was riding on came close to a group of foreigners doing their morning exercise.
Kabul police chief Zahir Zahir said the explosion took place inside the foreigners' compound near the outer perimeter.

Initial reports say all the fatalities and the injured were foreigners. Other reports say that three of those killed were foreigners and one an Afghan interpreter. The foreigners are described as advisers
The recent attack took place only a few days after Afghan forces repelled another attack from heavily armed militants against Kabul Airport.
The attacks are seen as a reaction to a strongly disputed election process, held on June 14, amid warnings of instability from Taliban.
The winner of the June 14 election was, according to preliminary results, Ashraf Ghani, but an election commission is conducting an audit of votes cast.
The other candidate Mr Abdullah came out as the winner in the first round in April, but failed to secure 50% of the vote to avoid the run-off.
Now both are accusing each other of fraud at the election.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, and for another one that took place a few days ago and involved rockets being fired into the airport area. They strongly oppose the newly held election.
Kabul airport is used by civilians as well as the military. Attacks against the airport have been frequent, and are believed to be targeting NATO-led forces that have an operational base there.
Frontal attacks on the heavily guarded facility are rare even if it represent an ambitious target for insurgents.
