Assassin's Creed Chronicle Trilogy to be Set in China, India and Russia

Assassin's Creed developer Ubisoft is set to release the first chronicle of a new AC trilogy game set in three different parts of globe. 

In contrast with other AC series set as an open world type of exploration, the chronicle trilogy will be played in 2.5D action perspective. The chronicle trilogy is more of a mini game that will be included in AC Unity.

The first installment of the trilogy is in China. The second and third will be set in India and Russia.  You can watch the video preview here

The first story is set in China in 1526 during the Ming Dynasty and you play the role of Shao Jun, a Chinese assassin. The second installment is set in 1841 India at a time the Sikh Empire is at war.  You assume the role of Arbaaz Mir. 

The third and last of the trilogy is set in 1918 Russia just after the October Revolution.  The rifle wielding Russian character carries the name of Nikolai Orelov.

The preview trailer presents the three characters, their views and reasons for killing people.  Shao Jun is fueled by revenge. Arbaaz believes in his cause while the disgraced Russian Orelov is seeking redemption.

The first installment is set to be releasd on April 21 for the Windows PC, Xbox One and PS 4.  It will be released first in the North and South American regions. After one day, it will be released in Great Britain and the rest of Europe. The launch of the second and third installment will be announced by Ubisoft.

Each of the installments will have a retail price of US$10.  Players that have the season pass to Assassin's Creed Unity will have the opportunity to download the China chronicle for free.

Ubisoft has delegated the development of the Assassin's Creed Chronicle Trilogy to Climax Studios.
