U.S. President Barack Obama reportedly said Vice President Joe Biden would be a "superb" president but was unsure if Hillary Clinton was willing to go through another campaign as either his vice president or rival.
On Monday, Obama told the New Yorker that Biden knows what the job requires and understands the delineation between the important and less important skills. The President also said Biden "enjoys politics" and is great at relating with people, Reuters relayed.

The New Yorker article on Biden, which was posted online on Monday, featured Biden in its July 28 publication.
Obama wondered if the two Democrats would want to take a shot at the presidency in the 2016 elections. Clinton and Biden, both former rivals of Obama in the 2008 Democratic presidential polls, have not yet announced their election plans.
Clinton, who served as secretary of state in the Obama administration, avoided giving direct responses to queries about her potential presidential candidacy. Instead, she is focused on a summer media tour for her new book entitled "Hard Choices."
Biden and Clinton both have a lot of accomplishments, Obama said in an interview with the media firm. However, at this point in their lives, the main question is if they want to experience all over again the "undignifying process" of being a presidential candidate, he said.
Biden is currently way behind Clinton in most of the opinion surveys. He said he will not decide on his candidacy until the end of the November congressional polls.
Although Biden considers his vice presidency as his "most worthwhile" task in his life, he can also be happy without becoming a president, he told the magazine.
Obama expressed his gratitude for Biden's unwavering loyalty through his two terms. He added that only Biden can truly answer if he will run in the 2016 presidential elections.
