Glitch in 'Bloodborne' Helps Players Handily Defeat Bosses

bloodborne

A Redditor named meatballz claim to have discovered a bug in the "Bloodborne" game. According to him, the bug is a memory leak that can be activated by letting the game run for around 12 hours or more.

Bloodborne bosses are quite difficult to kill and a lot of players will need numerous tries to kill even one. Fortunately, meatballz discovered that if you let your PS 4 run the game for at least 12 hours, the bosses suddenly became easy marks to kill.

In his article, he said he turns off the power saving option of his PS 4 console and lets the "Bloodborne" game run through the night. When he returned to his game the following morning, he handily defeated the boss Logarius, Amelia and One Reborn.

In normal mode, Logarius will cast one powerful spell after another but in the bug mode he's reduced to using his scythe and no longer casts spells. The boss Amelia, is no longer healing while One Reborn no longer spews acid. All of the bosses have weakened in one way or another.

To prove his exploits he provided the two videos comparing the regular mode and the bug mode.

Other Redditors do concur with Meatballz that the bug does exist. But they also pointed out the bug still occurs when players switched to a new character.

Technically, if it is a memory leak, the changing of characters would have freed some game memory. Still, others claim suspending the game in lieu of closing it will activate the bug.

This kind of bug enables players to cheat their way through the game. "Bloddborne" developer From Software has yet to officially acknowledge the existence of the bug. This means the fix for this bug will probably take a long time if they ever decide to fix it.
