Could one of our favorite rappers be engaged?

That is the exact question the singer-songwriter raised among fans after she teasingly posted two cryptic posts-one on Twitter and another one on Instagram-this week.

On Tuesday night, the 32-year old "Anaconda" rapper, shared a photo of her with hip-hop artist, Meek Mill, 27. The image, which was taken in Miami, shows Nicki wearing a huge ring on her left ring finger, which many interpreted, as an engagement ring. The photo was simply captioned, "Those Miami nights."

Until today, a representative for Nicki has not yet responded about the rumors and a rep for Meek couldn't be reached.

Though it's well known that Nicki loves wearing oversized bling, whether she's performing or simply hanging out with friends, the rumors went into overdrive after she posted a tweet with three emojis-first was a diamond ring, followed by a yellow heart and a plain diamond. Then she wrote, "I will post it later."

And when a Twitter follower directly tweeted at Meek and told him he's "lucky," Meek even retweeted the comment and replied, "I am!"

After Nicki decided to break it off with her boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, whom she's been with for 11 years, rumors about Nicki and Meek dating, as well as speculations on the real deal about their relationship immediately started. However, in an interview for Vogue, Nicki kept mum about their status and shied away from saying they were dating.

She told the fashion and lifestyle magazine that people seem to think she and Meek just recently became friends, but she clarified that thought and said that they have actually been friends for such a long time with Meek being there for her for most of the things she's been through. "And that is all I will say about that," Nicki added.

Nicki has been extremely open about wanting to get married and eventually settling down. Unfortunately, her huge heart-shaped diamond might not be really an engagement ring. Known for pulling promotional pranks, some speculate that maybe she's just trying to amp up her upcoming track with Meek, titled "Buy a Heart."
