Actor Dennis Quaid had an on-set freak out this week that immediately went viral and had us all thinking if it was true. Well, fortunately it's only a prank thanks to Funny or Die.

A day after Dennis' ranting was caught on camera, the video quickly made its rounds online pranking everyone on the Internet. After some discussion, the video website's official Twitter account tweeted and wrote, "After days of speculation, the truth about Dennis Quaid's on-set meltdown is finally revealed," followed by the link to Dennis' whole video, which ultimately throws light on the "Vantage Point" actor's vulgar choice of words.

The first video clip, uploaded April 10 to YouTube shows Dennis screaming "I am acting here, and this dickhead wanders on to my set." Furious, he tells the director that "Dopey the Dick" starts whispering in his ear while he cannot even manage to say his lines right. Still mad, he accuses the director of not watching his scenes anymore. 

And now that the full video has been released by the Emmy-winning comedy video site, it shows that there is really a man, dressed in a penis costume who goes to his set, providing the context everyone needed for Dennis' "d***h***" and "Dopey the Dick" comments.

A lot of fans, even media outlets initially thought that the "leaked" video was one of Jimmy Kimmel's pranks. However, last night, the host, who is well-known for being a prankster, addressed the speculation on his late-night show and denied having to do anything with the video. 

He said he watched Dennis' video for about fourteen times last night and that his favorite part was when Dennis ranted about not being able to say his lines with "Dopey the Dick" whispering to the director's ear.

The 47-year old host from New York, jokingly said that he wants to call everyone "Dopey the Dick" and have t-shirts printed up with it. He revealed that he watched it last night without any clue whatsoever that he was being blamed for it. It was only when he woke up the next morning that he found out and read numerous articles and thousands of comments claiming that it is a gag video which he is responsible for.
