Fresh from its release and available for pre-order at its website, the Omen Pro laptop from Hewlett-Packard Company made its debut April 14 and is reminiscent of the original HP Omen gaming laptop.
ZDNet reported the Pro version of HD Omen, which weighs less than five pounds, shares some specs with the original HD laptop, including the same FHD display length of 1,920 x 1080; 15.6 inches and, according to the configuration, either 8 GB or double of that memory size.

Being seen as a workstation that must handle media-creation applications better than the Nvidia Geforce GTX graphics, HP used the professional grade Quadro K1100M GPU card, which carries 2 GB, together with Windows 7 Pro and HP Performance Advisor.
CNET reported the 0.78 inch thick HP Omen Pro arrived with an initial price tag of US$2,199 accompanied by fourth generation Intel processors. It said the notebook's display seems to be small for any working station device that has mobile professionals as its target market and users. The report revealed three ports for the laptop: a small-sized Display, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports that will help in connecting to a larger display.
There are two HP Omen Pro configurations: the L9H59UT, which has 8 GB of RAM and the L9H60UT configuration that carries double the RAM compared to the former. May 3 is the estimated date of shipping for both configurations of HP Omen Pro.
For HP Omen Pro's drives, user will have hands-on experience with the drive named by HD as Z Turbo and PCI Express solid-state drives.
