The Internet berated Michael Bublé for body shaming a woman after he posted a photo of her butt on Instagram and called him out for, well, being a creep.

The singer received harsh backlash after he shared a photo of him with a woman in the background wearing shorts that looked extremely small for her. He then took to his Facebook page to apologize for his actions.

The singer, who shared that his wife Luisana Lopilato took the photo, told E! News in an official statement, that he did not mean any harm. Though his intent was something complimentary, the photo caused outrage among people and he admitted that he's hurt that "anyone would think that I would disrespect women or be insulting to any human being." He then added that he wasn't raised that way and being insulting and disrespectful aren't in his character.

He ended his apology by telling his fans that his intention was complimentary and that he did not mean to cause any controversy. With so many people taking offense with the photo, the singer wanted to make it clear and reminded people once again that it was never his intention. In an attempt to do some damage control, he proudly said that women should be "celebrated, respected, loved, honored and revered. I have spent my life believing that and will continue to do so," he said.

The controversial butt photo shows Michael, wearing a blue shirt and posing for the camera and an unsuspecting woman behind him, whose shorts show her butt cheeks. Michael captioned the photo, "There was something about this photo lu took that seemed worthy of instagram. #myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum." 

Although he was probably just having fun, a lot of people didn't find it funny at all and accused Michael of body shaming, especially because it's no secret that he wasn't always a gentleman.

He was previously called out for being a jerk when he dished on intimate details about his previous relationships, including his relationship with actress, Emily Blunt.
