Goophone, a Chinese mobile company infamous for its smartphone knock-offs, plans to roll out the "i6," an unabashed clone of Apple's upcoming iPhone 6.
i6 will roll out on August 1. The Goophone smartphone is based on leaked images images and videos of the highly anticipated iPhone 6.

The knockoff i6 costs US$159.99 for the 16 GB model while iPhone 5S 16 GB costs US$199 locked in with contract. Without a conract, the 5S costs US$649.
Consumers may be smitten with the i6 but they should know the Chinese phone runs on the Android OS. The i6 processor is clocked at only 1.4 GHz.
The i6 looks remarkably similar to the iPhone 6. Both smartphones have fingerprint readers; an auto-focusing camera in the rear, and other remarkable design features.
Instead of the Apple's classic logo, however, the i6 has an image of bumblebee on its back.
Goophone not only copied the iPhone, it has also an imitation of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Copyrights are clearly an issue with both knockoffs but Chinese authorities have taken no action against Goophone.
