Bobbi Kristina Brown, who has been in a coma since January, is already "awake" and has been removed from life support, according to Bobby Brown and his sister Tina Brown, Us Magazine reports.

Bobbi Kristina was put into a medically induced coma for almost 3 months after she was found unconscious face down in a bathtub right in her home. After a transfer to another rehabilitative facility in Emory, close family sources reported no sign of significant change.

However, things turned out good for Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina's father, who made the announcement along with his sister, Tina that Bobbi Kristina's condition is improving.

The 46 year old former New Edition member gave the fans a clue about his daughter's condition during a Frankie Beverly concert at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas last April 18.

"I can say today Bobbi is awake," said Bobby Brown, expressing that his daughter is watching over him while he is doing his performance. Bobby Brown's speech was recorded and posted as a video in Instagram, thus causing speculation.

Tina Brown also announced this good news through her Facebook, confirming her brother's brief announcement through his concert last April 19.

"So many messages, sorry can't answer them right now but i will get to them later," wrote Tina Brown. She also requested to spend more time with her family and confirmed the news that her niece Bobbi Kristina is indeed awake and no longer on life support.

Tina Brown also stated that God is indeed good and thanked everyone for their prayers and support. The sudden rousing to consciousness may be a long process but Tina revealed that Bobbi Kristina was going to be okay.

Bobby Brown still has to give his official statement on his daughter's condition, after a series of events involving feuds and squabbles with both sides of the family and also requesting the fans worldwide to keep praying for Bobbi Kristina.
