Siesta Fiesta: the New Must Have Game

Siesta Fiesta

"A must have on 3DS." That's what website "nintendolife" said in its review of the classic arcade game, Siesta Fiesta.

It said the game innovated without compromising on quality and complicating matters beyond the reach of inexperienced players.

Nintendo recommends the game for players who want quick level plays and extended play sessions. And the game comes at an affordable price.

"It shows that skill and care developers, can still deliver real quality to the portable," said nintendolife.

Players must take control of Siesta, who is sleeping the whole time, as he's taken on a tour of Fiestaville: home of the beloved Fiestas.

The player must then struggle to bounce, boost and rebound Siesta's bed to get through the game.

The classic paddle-and-ball block breaking combines with scrolling levels in many cases and moves away from the standard arena-based template.

Level layouts often challenge a player to achieve fairly tight angles and accuracy, and the paddle, or bed, behaves much as expected.

To achieve the highest scores requires activation of particular switches, changing direction of blocks to direct a ball of fire. The game uses a medal system for its players.

Every time a player passes a level, he gets a bronze medal. If the player performs decently he gets a silver medal and if a player becomes a "developer's runs," he gets a gold medal.

Players will go through eight worlds consisting of 64 levels with impressive and colorful backgrounds.

The last stage in each territory also has a boss encounter. Some are a simple case of landing enough hits, while others have subtle tricks and puzzle aspects to solve.

Siesta Fiesta can be played at Nintendo 3DS and was developed by Mojo Bones.
