Zoe Saldana, star of the newly released "Guardians of the Galaxy" is pregnant. This is her first child with husband soccer-player-turned-artist Marco Perego.

Although Saldana has yet to comment about the baby news, her publicist confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter that the 36-year old actress is indeed pregnant.

Hollywood went abuzz with baby rumors when Saldana attended the premiere of "Guardians of the Galaxy" on Monday wearing a black-and-white dress that attempted to hide a growing baby bump.

Saldana's Instagram photos of the movie's press tour also showed a suspicious belly bump, but she continued to keep mum.

A source close to Saldana said that she is about three months on the way, adding, "Zoe has always wanted a big family... and Marco's on board too!"

Saldana has always tried to keep her life private. Saldana and Perego secretly got married in London last year. After being photographed together in Paris in May last year, people were surprised to see a picture in September of the two wearing wedding bands.

Saldana's pregnancy brings double joy to her family because her older sister Mariel is also pregnant and is expected to give birth this month.

Saldana and their other sister Cisely threw a baby shower in Beverly Hills for Mariel.

There has been no news regarding how the pregnancy will affect her upcoming projects. Saldana has just recently closed a deal to star in the three sequels to "Avatar."

Saldana shot to fame with her first film role in the ballet movie "Centerstage," later on starring in blockbusters such as "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" and the film reboot of "Star Trek."

Saldana was once engaged to long-time boyfriend, actor and CEO of My Fashion Database, Keith Britton. She was also said to have been in an on-again, off-again relationship with actor Bradley Cooper.
