Blake Lively has finally shared the real reason why she and husband Ryan Reynolds, decided to name their daughter, "James."

The Gossip Girl star, who welcomed her and Ryan's first child in December of last year, made an appearance on Good Morning American and talked about her reason while promoting her new romance fantasy movie, Age of Adaline.

The 27-year old actress revealed that James is actually a family name and that she "liked having a boy's name." 

Asked about the most important piece of advice she could give to her daughter, she said that it would be to not let anyone tell her "no." 

While going on press tours for her upcoming drama, Blake has always spoken nothing but praises for her new baby girl and gorgeous husband, Ryan. She appeared on Live! With Kelly and Michael just this Tuesday, where she revealed that their baby girl looks just like Ryan.

"I think she looks like her daddy," Blake said before jokingly saying that she wants a maternity test. She continued, "I am not sure about this kid... She never left our sight but..."

Blake also laughed off the rumors that claimed her husband cried a lot during James' birth. In an interview with PopSugar, Blake told Lindsay Miller, an editor for the online website, "He is charming. He does come up with funny things. But, No, he was not crying that much."

The actress, who has also become a lifestyle guru, opened up more about motherhood in the May issue of Allure Magazine. She discussed the importance of pursuing her dreams and how breast-feeding has become a full-time job, joking that she's pumping even when she's driving down the road.

James' beautiful mom said, "I feel like I have figured out the most important thing to me and everything supports that."

Age of Adaline is scheduled to hit theaters on May 8, 2015.
