(Photo : Baidu.com) There are rumors that G.E.M.’s recent London concert was a flop, but the singer has denied the rumors as a 'joke.'
G.E.M. Tang cannot seem to get a break. Hong Kong's newest diva was in Changsha for a concert, when some concert attendees brought signages with messages that said, "G.E.M. Tang, you are not a singer!" and "Get out of showbiz!"
The singer herself was startled by, what some might call an attack. Fans were quick to defend their idol and even threw their water bottles at the people holding the signages. Security guards quickly arrived to separate the two groups, which prevented any possible violent incident from happening.

A source just recently revealed that the 23-year old singer's agency was even reluctant to allow G.E.M. to perform at the concert over disputes regarding her performance fee. Although the organizer and her agency eventually arrived at a deal, with the organizer even agreeing to pay G.E.M. in advance, her agency once again prevented G.E.M. from performing due to problems with infringement.
According to the pop star's agency, the organizers failed to ask for their permission in using images of their client, which resulted to the copyright infringement issue. However, after seeing the number of people who came to the concert to watch G.E.M., her agency finally gave in and allowed her to perform.
This is not the first time that G.E.M. has been targeted by her audience. Back in February, G.E.M. performed at the luxury hotel, The Venetian, in Las Vegas and got booed for interacting with the attendees in Mandarin throughout her whole show. Reports even claimed that some concert goers even shouted at G.E.M. and reminded her that she is from Hong Kong.
In one concert in Hong Kong, she again angered fans for deciding to sing more Mandarin songs.
Though it seems like the world is teaming up against G.E.M. Tang, the singer is remaining optimistic and once wrote on her official Facebook page, "Ease every step, then no matter how difficult the journey is, we will always reach the end. Never give up. In any case, I will never give up!"
