"Yo, I freestyle to the f-----y man. I go on the bus and I sleep for a day, then I come back and they're like, Ed you look like this gay," said Sheeran, through the alleged video, according to The Mirror.
The 24 year old crooner added in his rap compostion that the guys he was talking about were not actually gay. Sheeran's representative told the media that what Sheeran was rapping about was to convey a message to rappers who attack homosexuals, he emphasized on the fact that Sheeran was not a 'homophobic'.
The video was filmed two years before Sheeran reprimanded anti-gay protestors in a 2013 Taylor Swift concert, stating through Twitter that protestors should keep their offensive remarks to themselves.
The 'Thinking Out Loud' singer has been enjoying the success of his career as a musical artist lately. The singer thanked his loyal fanbase through social media last Wednesday.

The singer, whose songs such as 'A Team' and 'Lego House' reached platinum in UK, has definitely come a long way from his humble beginnings of singing in a church choir.
Sheeran recently announced his upcoming tour in Australia and New Zealand in November. The venue will be in stadiums and ticket sales are set to commence within a week.
Sheeran's official representive still has to comment on the issue of the 2011 video.
