With the fight eleven days away, fight fans the world over would be surprised to hear that the actual contract for the Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight to take place in MGM Grand has not yet been signed.
Bob Arum, promoter for Top Rank, recently told ESPN.com that he has not yet signed the contract draft that was sent last April 15 because it did not fulfil the conditions that were initially agreed upon between him and the MGM Grand. However, MGM and Mayweather Promotions have signed on a couple of months ago.

"We agreed that we would all be signatories on the final contract and then they sent us a draft of the agreement and it excluded us," Arum said, the main promoter of Pacquiao.
Not being a signatory in the contract would mean that Arum and Top Rank will have no control during the fight. This would include in-arena production, music, and even video content.
Arum said that they do not want them to have any control whatsoever, and whether this stipulation was agreed upon before or after Mayweather Promotions side, they have committed fraud. Optimistically though, Arum thinks the contract can be signed Tuesday night or Wednesday morning at the latest.
CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, has some other thoughts on the contract.
For Ellerbe, he thinks that there is nothing wrong with the current terms of agreement. Instead, he feels that the only conspiracy going on is that Arum and his lawyers are trying to change the stipulations of the contract that agreed upon.
He assures people that there is no fraud going on and that any reference to this back alley action is ridiculous.
Fraud or no, fight fans are just hoping that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will sign the contract so that the super fight people have been waiting for sees the light of the big stage.
