The success of WWE 2k15 left gamers wanting more action in the much awaited WWE 2k16 game, which is rumored to be released six months from now.

WWE game enthusiasts were very vocal and are looking forward to the release of WWE 2k16 since they weren't satisfied with WWE 2k15's limited roster.

According to Fansided, WWE 2k15 may have had blockbuster sales compared to the first versions but this doesn't stop what gamers want to see in WWE 2k16's features. Reports said gamers' concerns will be addressed by the game developer to provide fanatics a smooth gameplay.

Good news for all fanatics is that 2K16 will have the biggest roster ever presented by WWE games. The relatively new WWE 2k15 presented 83 wrestlers. The 2k14 game had 103 wrestlers while 2k13 featured 106 playable characters.

Rumors said more juicy details will be revealed and presented by 2K Sports at E3 2015, which will be held from June 16 to June 18. Among the anticipated characters in WWE 2k16 are WWE Diva Rosa Mendez, WWE Superstar Rusev and current NXT Champion Sasha Banks, who has just confirmed joining the roster.

Other anticipated superstars that may be included in the roster are Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Bubba Ray Dudley, Paige (AJ Lee's tag team partner) and Seth Rollins. They're the ones making waves.

According to iDigitalTimes, the 83 wrestlers from 2K15 will be revamped. The game will most likely remove known playable characters such AJ Lee and CM Punk.

The upcoming WWE 2K16 will be made available for the next-gen console. It might possibly introduce a PC version since 2K Sports' Bryce Yang said the developer wants its games to be playable in other platforms.
