Elaine Ng blatantly said that it's none of her business whether or not her daughter, Etta Ng, wants to see her father, Hong Kong actor and martial artist, Jackie Chan.
The 42-year old actress made her first public appearance at an event organized for Digital Broadcasting Corporation (DBC) after being accused of physically abusing her own daughter.

Back in March, Elaine was arrested and interrogated for physically abusing her 15-year old daughter, Etta, who is Jackie Chan's illegitimate daughter. After three weeks of investigation, Elaine was finally released and was allowed to be reunited with her daughter.
When asked about her daughter, Elaine smiled and proudly said that both of them are working on improving their relationship. She revealed that they talk every day and make an effort to learn more about each other. Elaine did not hold back in sharing that her daughter is currently in her stage of teenage rebellion and said, "I am sure many parents understand what I mean."
As for Jackie, although he spent years trying to avoid discussing his illegitimate daughter, he finally opened up about her and admitted that he had hurt, Etta, by not fully accepting her as his own daughter. When asked if he has plans to officially see Etta and finally meet her, he left it up to fate and simply said, "Let nature take its course."
Commenting on Jackie's response, the Highs and Lows actress heaved a heavy sigh before admitting that he does not read news about her former lover and explained that she's already having a hard time handling her own family, so why bother about others.
Regarding allowing Etta to meet her father, she candidly said that it's none of her business. She's leaving the decision to Etta, who's nearing the legal age of 18. Possibly trying to maintain a good relationship with her daughter, she explained that she does not meddle in her daughter's business.
