Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, says that she was blindsided by her ex-husband's decision to transition into a woman. The 65-year old former track and field athlete is believed to be taking the necessary steps to transition successfully. At the moment, he is rumored to have received hormone therapy and undergone several surgeries such as nose surgery, breast enhancement surgery and a laryngeal shave procedure in an attempt to become a woman.

Kris and Bruce were together for almost 25 years and have been married for 22 years, but as reported by TMZ, Bruce never let Kris in on his desire to transition during that time they were married. Sources have revealed to the celebrity news website that the Olympian briefly discussed his tendency to dress up in women's clothes years ago, but never openly expressed that he wanted to become a woman.

The website also added that while Bruce admitted to occasionally wearing women's clothes, Kris never actually saw him do so. They also claimed that Bruce did not admit he was a transgender until after he and Kris divorced in December of 2014.

However, one source close to Bruce said that the story was a lie, as Kris was fully aware of his desires. Just this February, TMZ reported that Kris was informed by her Bruce about his issues with sexual identity even before they got hitched. Adding that Bruce wanted to transition years ago, but was prevented by the rest of his family for fear of hurting the famous Kardashian brand.

ABC had confirmed Bruce's 2-hour interview with Diane Sawyer, in which Kendall and Kylie Jenner's dad will reportedly discuss how he arrived at the decision to become a woman and how that has affected the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Previews of the interviews have left fans wondering about what exactly it is he decided to hold off doing to protect his extremely famous family. Many sources believe that his interview will serve as a lead-in to Bruce's rumored docuseries which will follow his journey to womanhood.

Kris is reported to be extremely nervous about the interview which will air on ABC on Friday at 9 pm and is worried about what her ex-husband will say about her and their family. There have been claims that Kris is ready to file a lawsuit against him in case he makes defamatory or fabricated statements about her.
